Brief Description:
The training was intended to facilitate capacity building training for youth, women, local leaders and other members of the community to achieve self-reliance. Borotet Community Initiative is a nonprofit community based organization, based in Mogotio constituency in Baringo County. The organization works in partnership with other stakeholders to make a difference in the Community through socio economic activities and other capacity building programmes. The organization works with religious leaders, local leaders, community spokesmen, nyumba kumi initiative teams, women and youth leaders in various programmes and projects based on needs analysis

- Increase psychosocial support services to vulnerable persons
- Support skills training for youths, women, men and other vulnerable groups

- Enhance income-generating activities in the community
Summary of the training
The Grassroots training on Community mentorship in Baringo County was successfully conducted. The training evaluations showed that majority of participants found the training to be beneficial. Participants felt that the training was designed well with relevant themes. All the participants expressed that they have learned new knowledge, skills.
